Ukraine might
not have been the first country to spring to mind when considering higher
education overseas, but its education is quickly making a name itself. According
to the latest survey by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the
number of Indian medical students in Ukraine has surged by 44%, while the
number of Ukrainian medical students-who account for one of the largest groups
of international students in the States.
Ukraine- the
world’s second largest education network, with 300 universities and 15,000
colleges – offers a huge variety of courses spanning the undergraduates, postgraduates,
doctorate, skill based and vocational levels.
Kyiv Medical University is one the
few private institutions of medical
education in Ukraine. Since 1992, when this university was founded, we
were determined to achieve highest international standards of education and
providing to our students only fundamental knowledge in medicine.
We have succeeded
in achieving this goal, which confirmed by recruiting our graduates by clinics
in Ukraine and Worldwide. It has the
highest level of accreditation by the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and it recognized
in the WHO’s Avicenna directory of medical schools, colleges and universities
as well as the International Medical Education Directory(IMED) of the United
States among several other international regulatory bodies.
Non-EU and
International Students will need Visa to enter and live here for a prolonged period
of time. The visa type required for students is”O”. The documents required to
apply for it are as follows:
1.
The original of the student’s invitation,
confirmed by the Embassy of Ukraine in the country of residence.
2.
Passport with valid expiration date that
exceeds the term of the visa at latest by a month.
3.
Official translation of birth
certificate, le galized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of residence
and the Embassy of Ukraine in the country of residence.
4.
Official translation of the document of
secondary and high education, legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
the country of residence and the Embassy of Ukraine in the country of residence.(older
than 2 months).
5.
Medical certificate of absence of viral
hepatitis and HIV infection (certification not older than 2 months).
6.
Official translation of certificate of
health, legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the residence and the
Embassy of Ukraine in the country of residence(certificate valid for 2 months).
7.
Copy of open air ticket or return ticket
valid for a year with seal from the travel agency.
NB! The
documents and the statements of mark from secondary and higher secondary board
is accepted for consideration only after confirmation by the Embassy of the
country of residence in Ukraine.
