General Information of General Medicine
As we know the faculty of general
medicine is an undergraduate program in English which of 6 years duration. It
is leading to M.D. Physician. This
program has divided into two parts: first is Pre clinical and Clinical
training. Pre Clinical is the 3 years program and after 3 years clinical
training is also 3 years program. 3
years of clinical training which is carried out at our university.
First 3 years of pre clinical program is
theoretically studying the basic of a student in the basic subjects of medical
sciences and the final three years or the clinical training aims at combining
those basics in a doctor-patient setup and learning all the clinical skills in
the theory and practice enabling them to come out of the university as skilled,
trained and excellent clinicians.
The above mention program at Kyiv Medical University offers lowest cost for international students. It has its own
hostel accommodation for all its students. This hostel is located very close to
the educational campus and is 7 min walk from main campus and is well connected
to all the basic provisions like Metro, Bus stops, Super Markets and other
convenience stores.
Rules for ADMISSION AND VISA
Non-EU and International Students will
need Visa to enter Ukraine and live here for a prolonged period of time. The visa type required for students is “O”.
The documents required to apply for it are as follows:
The original of the student’s invitation,
confirmed by the Embassy of Ukraine in the country of residence.
Passport with valid expiration date that
exceeds the term of the visa at least by a month.
Official translation of birth
certificate, legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country of
residence and the Embassy of Ukraine in the country of residence.
Official translation of the document of
secondary and high education, legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
the country of residence and the Embassy of Ukraine in the country of
residence.(older than 2 months).
Medical certificate of absence of vital
hepatitis and HIV infection (certificate not older than 2 months).
Official translation of certificate of
health, legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the residence and the
Embassy of Ukraine in the country of residence(certificate valid for 2 months).
Copy of open air ticket or return ticket
valid for a year with seal from the travel agency.
NB! The documents and the statements of
mark from secondary and higher secondary board is accepted for consideration
only after confirmation by the Embassy of the country of residence in Ukraine.
